Melanie was raised in Iowa, and after her dad relocated to Lake Norman, she moved to be with him. Her career in the national homebuilding sector took her to the Asheville and Greenville markets until returning to Charlotte to focus more on the custom and luxury side of the industry. Melanie has a daughter who is a Freshman in high school now.

At GLH, Melanie's job is to listen to the client and provide attention to details, which at times can be an overwhelming process for our clients. She is incredibly creative in helping clients prioritize all facets of their budgets with a fine-tooth comb of assisted decision-making.

Q: What makes GLH unique?

​A: "The fact that we do offer an interior designer and architect in-house is a big plus for several of our clients. It's much less stressful for them. In addition, I am proud of our staff and trade partners. There is a great camaraderie all around, which I believe our clients benefit from greatly."
